People do not hate chatbots. They hate being trapped by one: the widget that cannot answer the question, will not admit it, and stands between them and a human being. So the first design decision here is the one most bot projects skip. Your phone number stays visible on every page, the bot never becomes the only way in, and when it does not know something it says so and points at you.

Inside that boundary, a bot earns its keep. It answers the questions you get ten times a week, takes a name and number at hours you cannot, and does it from your real information: your services, your hours, your area, the answers you would give. Not from whatever the internet thinks a business like yours probably says.

What this service covers
#

The build and the feeding. We collect the material the bot answers from, which is mostly things you already have: your pages, your pricing approach, the questions customers actually ask you and the answers you actually give. Then the wiring: where the chat hands a conversation to you, what gets captured when someone wants a call back, and what the bot is told to refuse to answer rather than guess at.

What happens when we start
#

You test it before your customers do. The bot runs privately first, you ask it the awkward questions, and everything it gets wrong becomes either a correction or a rule that it hands that topic to a human. It goes on the site when you say it is ready, not when we do.

How pricing works
#

The same monthly arrangement as the rest of our work: the build, then the keeping of it as your hours, services, and answers change. A bot fed once and left alone drifts out of date like a brochure in a rack. The figure comes in writing after the first call.

“Will it make things up?”
#

A bot allowed to guess will guess, which is why this one is not allowed to. It answers from the information we loaded, and outside that it declines and offers the phone number or takes a message. You will see this yourself in testing, because you get to ask it things it should not know. The honest trade-off: it will sometimes decline a question a clever bot would have bluffed through. For a business that trades on trust, that is the right side to fail on.
