Everything we do is backed up by provable metrics, which only works if the measuring is set up before the marketing starts. That is what this service is: the counters put in the right places, and a monthly report short enough to read that says what happened and what we think you should do about it.
The setup matters more than it sounds. An analytics account that was created by a web designer three sites ago, tracking a goal nobody remembers defining, produces numbers that are worse than no numbers, because they look like answers. We would rather spend the first month getting the counting honest than a year reporting figures neither of us trusts.
What this service covers#
Google Analytics and Search Console set up, or straightened out, in accounts that belong to you. Calls and form submissions counted as the events that matter, because a service business is not measured in pageviews. Then the monthly report: what people searched, where they came from, which pages turned into contact, and the one or two changes we recommend, in plain language, with the reasoning attached.
What happens when we start#
We open what you already have, together, on a screen share. Whatever accounts exist get found, claimed, and moved into your name if they are not there already. Then we agree the short list of numbers that actually describe your business, and those are the ones the report leads with every month after.
How pricing works#
The same monthly arrangement as everything else, and if we are already doing other work for you, reporting on it is included rather than sold separately. A report on its own, for an owner who does their own marketing and wants honest numbers, is also a thing we do. Either way the figure comes in writing after the first call.
“I already get a report every month”#
Plenty of owners do, and plenty of those reports are a chart deck nobody reads. The test is simple: does it end with what to do next, and can you check its numbers yourself without asking anyone? If your current report passes, keep it and do not pay us for a second one. If it does not, that is the part we fix, and the numbers stay in your account either way.
