You are on a ladder, or with a customer, or driving, and the phone rings. It goes to voicemail. The caller does not leave one. They found you in a list of businesses like yours, and the next name on that list is one tap away.

Missed call text back is the plainest fix there is: when a call goes unanswered, the caller immediately gets a text from your number. Something like: sorry we missed you, we are with a customer, what do you need? Now they are in a conversation with you instead of dialing your competitor, and a conversation is something you can pick up in the truck at the next red light. It does not answer the phone for you. It keeps the person on the line yours until you can.

What this service covers
#

The setup, done properly: the text that goes out, written in your words and not a robot’s; the hours it runs, if you want it quiet overnight; where the replies land so they are seen and not lost in a second inbox; and the record of every missed call and what became of it, so you can see the thing working. If you want the follow-up to go further, a reminder when a conversation has sat unanswered, that is the marketing automation work this usually leads into.

What happens when we start
#

We set it up, then we test it the only honest way: we call you when you cannot answer and watch what the caller experiences. You approve the wording of every message before it is live. The first month’s record shows you every call it caught, which is the point where most owners stop thinking of it as a gadget.

How pricing works
#

Part of the same monthly arrangement as everything else we do. It is a small piece on its own and is usually set up alongside other work rather than sold as a product, but nothing stops you starting here: it is often the fastest thing on the list to show its worth.

“Why not just let them leave a voicemail?”
#

Because a voicemail asks the caller to wait for you, and a text answers them. The caller who would not leave a voicemail will often answer a text, because it costs them nothing and it arrived while they still had the problem in their hand. Keep the voicemail; this is not instead of it. It is for the callers, and there are many, who were never going to use it.
